A day care hospital is an outpatient hospital facility where patients attend for assessment, treatment or rehabilitation during the day and then return home or spend the night at a different facility.
There are many diseases where there is no need for the patient to be admitted in the hospital for day and night continuously for some days. So we do the needful in the day time and then patient is called in the next day again if required. This saves the money, time and avoid botheration to the patients and attendants
